Mount Clare 1760

Available exclusively at www.mountclare.org, the proceeds of this chart go to Mount Clare Museum House, the oldest Museum House in Baltimore, Maryland. This was the home of Charles Carroll, Barrister, author of Maryland’s Declaration of Independence and the older brother of Mary Clare Carroll of Annapolis.

The model for this chart was stitched entirely in backstitch with one strand of DMC 580 on 28 count Lakeside Maritime White Linen. Stitch count is 157 wide by 102 high. The chart is in color for ease of stitching and also may be stitched on 14 count evenweave fabric if you prefer. The chart shows the house with the original hyphens and wings in proper 18th century fashion. You may also wish to stitch just the middle portion of this chart that shows the earliest middle section of the house.

Suggested retail price is $10.00.
